As the summer term draws to a close Rotary is launching a revival of its popular Young Photographer competition designed to encourage young people up to the age of 17 to express their talents in visual terms.
With the whole summer and autumn in which to address the challenge competitors will have plenty of time to develop and refine their ideas
There are three age groups:
- Junior: Up to and including 10 years old
- Intermediate: 11 to 13 years old
- Senior: 14 to 17 years old
A full information pack and entry form are available to download here
The task for this year is to produce one photograph based on the theme “The Beauty of Architecture”. Each entry must be accompanied by a brief sentence describing the relationship of the photograph to the theme.
HINT: Judges look for connections between the photographs so keep that in mind for extra points.
